Q. What do I wear?
A. If you are new to golf all you need is a pair of trainers/flat outdoor shoes, trousers that are not jeans of any type/colour or tight leggings, although a top with a collar is preferred they are not essential unless going on the main golf course, also steer clear of tops with big slogan on or vest/string strap summer tops.
Q. Do I need any equipment?
A. The golf facilities used at each stiletto golf events provide all the equipment for those booked in as a New Golfer, other levels need to provide their own
Q. Do I have to be a member to come to an event
A. Not at all - stiletto golf has the principle for you to choose the level of involement that suits you, therfore not making it mandatory to become a member in order to attend the main events, and believes the membership benefits have been set out to offer additional value to the events for those wanting them for professional and/or personal use.
Q. Is is there a members discount on events
A. Just as stiletto golf do not require you to become a member to attend the events, they are priced the same for members and non members - memebrs are acknowledge at the event through their memebersip pin.
Q. I am not sure if I can get to an event each month, can I dip in and out?
A. Yes the events have a balanced structure for those attending each month as well as catering for the less frequent visitor, some women just come for the networking and enjoy the golf as part of it.
Q. I am a beginner and take quiet a lot of shots will I be too slow and hold people up?
A. Once you have learnt the basics from a golf professional the next thing to do is to get out and play. Everyone started as a beginner so you will find most players are happy to encourage you along. Slow play can be one of the biggest issues around the course please read the
Pace of Play for some helpful tips, play ready golf and just move quickly between your shots and you can always pick up and move to the next hole.
Q. Do I need a handicap to join the stiletto golf society?
A. There is no requirement to have a handicap before joining the stiletto golf society and the courses chosen by the society do not require them either.
Q. Can I get a handicap through stiletto golf?
A. Yes once you join as a member of the stiletto golf society you can have a society handicap based on 18 or 9 holes, there is also a Par3 beginners handicap, cards for handicap must be marked by another member.
Q. How does joining the stiletto golf society differ from joining a golf club?
A. Many golfers join a golf society as well as a local golf club. A golf society tends to be a group of likeminded individuals who have met through business or socially. The stiletto golf society offers a broad range of activities in addition to traditional golf as there are opportunities for non-golfers to learn to play in groups and a fast track program for beginners. Some may feel they are not ready to join a club others just want the flexibility that the society has to offer. In particular stiletto golf has a strong focus on business networking and utilizing golf for business, but the biggest difference perhaps is being part of a community of women within businesses who enjoy golf and its lifestyle – However it’s not just about the golf!

A. A vast range of professions from all sectors such as Banking and Finance, Solicitors, Accountants, Training, Recruitment, Media, Manufacturing, IT and Communications, employees within SMEs to large blue-chip companies, entrepreneurs and individuals who run their own businesses.
